  2. Grote Kerk (Great Church of Breda): A famous Gothic church built in the 15th century. Visit it to admire the architecture and climb the tower for a stunning view of the city.

Day:

  1. Kasteel van Breda (Breda Castle): Although the castle itself is not always open to the public due to the Royal Military Academy located in it, take a stroll around and enjoy the view of the water features and park.
  2. Stedelijk Museum Breda: Spend a few hours exploring collections of contemporary art and historical artifacts.

Evening:

  1. Harbor walk: End the day with a walk along the harbor (Haven) and dinner at one of the restaurants on the quay.

  1. Shopping and strolling along Ginnekenstraat and Veemarktstraat streets: Explore local shops, buy souvenirs, and end your visit in one of the local cafes or restaurants.

Helpful tips:

  • Getting around: It's convenient to walk or bike in Breda - bike rentals are available throughout the city.
  • Weather: The weather in the Netherlands can be changeable, so bring an umbrella and comfortable clothing for walks.
  • Language: Most residents speak English, but a few phrases in Dutch can be useful and pleasant.
