Day 1: Historic Center and Main Attractions

Münsterplatz:

  • Historisches Kaufhaus: A grand building with a vivid red facade on Münsterplatz. Built in the 16th century, it served as a trading center.
  • Altes und Neues Rathaus: Visit the old and new town halls located next to each other. The old building dates back to the 16th century, while the new one was built in the early 20th century.

Evening:

  • Schwabentor: Take a stroll to one of Freiburg's oldest city gates. Nearby, you can find cozy restaurants and cafes.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant: Try traditional Baden cuisine dishes such as Flammkuchen or Schwarzwälder Schinken.

Day 2: Nature and Culture
