  1. Lake Neuchatel or Gruyères: Start the second day with a trip outside the city. Choose between a visit to the picturesque Lake Neuchatel or a visit to the village of Gruyères, famous for its cheese and castle.

Day:

  1. University of Fribourg Botanical Garden: Back in the city, visit the botanical garden to enjoy a variety of plants and picturesque landscapes.
  2. Funicular Fribourg: Take a ride on the historic funicular that connects the lower and upper parts of the city. It is one of the oldest funiculars in Switzerland and still operates on water power.

Evening:

  1. Jardin Botanique Skiffarlie: End the day in this green park, where you can relax and unwind in nature.
  2. Evening stroll: Take a walk along the Saane River promenade or explore the streets of the Old Town again to see it in the evening light.
