Gdansk is a beautiful city on the coast of the Baltic Sea with a rich history and culture. Here is an example of a two-day tourist itinerary:

Day 1: Historical Center and Main Attractions

  • Long Market (Długi Targ): Start your day with a walk along Long Market, the central street surrounded by beautiful Renaissance facades. Visit the Golden Gate and walk through it to reach Long Market.

  • Neptune Fountain (Fontanna Neptuna): Located right on Long Market, this is one of the most famous meeting spots in the city.

  • The Crane (Żuraw): One of the symbols of Gdansk, formerly one of the largest port cranes in the world.

  • Museum of the Second World War: A modern museum dedicated to the events of World War II, located near the historical center.

Evening:

  • Dinner on the Motlawa Riverfront: There are many restaurants where you can try local cuisine, especially fish and seafood.

Day 2: Culture and Nature

Morning:

  • Oliwa Cathedral (Katedra Oliwska): Located in the Oliwa district, known for its organ and beautiful interiors.

  • Oliwa Park (Park Oliwski): Located next to the cathedral, a great place for a morning walk and relaxation.

Day:

  • Ethnographic Museum in Oliwa: Learn more about Polish culture and traditions.

  • Gdansk Zoo: A great place to visit if you are traveling with children.

  • Sopot Resort: A short drive from Gdansk, Sopot is famous for its pier (the longest wooden pier in Europe) and sandy beaches.

Evening:

  • Return to Gdansk and stroll through the Old Town: Enjoy the evening lights and atmosphere of the streets.

  • Dinner in the Old Town: End your day in one of the cozy restaurants, trying local beer or liqueurs.
