Geneva city guide for 1 day

Welcome to Geneva! This amazing city is surrounded by mountains and borders Lake Geneva. Even if you only have one day, you will be able to visit some of the most interesting places.

Morning:

  1. Lake Geneva and Jet d'Eau: Start your morning with a stroll along Lake Geneva. Here you will see the famous Jet d'Eau fountain, which is a symbol of the city. The early morning is the perfect time for photos and peaceful enjoyment of the views.
  2. Old Town (Vieille Ville): Head to the Old Town - the medieval part of Geneva, full of narrow streets and historical architecture. Make sure to visit St. Peter's Cathedral. Climb the tower for a magnificent view of the city.

Daytime:

  1. Museum of Art and History: Visit Geneva's largest museum - the Museum of Art and History. Here you will find extensive collections of art, archaeological finds, and historical artifacts.
  2. Flower Clock: Make a stop at the Flower Clock in the English Garden. This colorful work of art, made up of live plants and clocks, is a symbol of Geneva.
