Interlaken is a beautiful place to relax, located between two lakes in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Here is an example of a three-day itinerary:

Day 1: Exploring the city and surroundings

Morning:

  • Breakfast: Start the day with a refreshing coffee and croissant at a local café, such as Café de Paris.
  • Explore Interlaken: Take a stroll in the Höheweg park, enjoy views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. Visit the Jungfrau Region Curatorium to learn more about the region's history.

Day:

  • Harderkulm: Take a funicular up to the Harderkulm viewing platform. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, as well as the snow-capped peaks of the Alps.

Evening:

  • Dinner: Indulge in Swiss cuisine at Stadthaus or Schuh restaurant, where you can try fondue or raclette.

Day 2: Outdoor adventures

Morning:

  • Hike: Spend half a day on one of the popular trails, such as to the Staubbach waterfall in Lauterbrunnen. It's an amazing valley with numerous waterfalls.

Day:

  • Paragliding: Take a paragliding lesson to experience the freedom of soaring over Interlaken valley.

Evening:

  • Relaxation: After returning to the city, unwind at a spa center, such as Victoria-Jungfrau Spa.

Day 3: Mountain excursion

Morning:

  • Jungfraujoch: One of the most memorable moments - take a trip to Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe." The train leaves from Klein Scheidegg station and passes through the famous cogwheel railway. At the top, you'll find the Sphinx Observatory and the Ice Palace.

Day:

  • Aletsch Glacier: Take a walk on the panoramic trails around the glacier, enjoying the beauty of the icy landscapes.

Evening:

  • Farewell dinner: Spend the evening at a cozy restaurant, like Hirschen, with a stunning view of the mountains and traditional Swiss cuisine.

Additional tips:

  • Transportation: Use the Swiss Travel Pass for comfortable travel on trains and buses.
  • Clothing: Pack clothing for different weather conditions, as the weather in the mountains can change quickly.
  • Language: While the main language is German, most staff at tourist sites speak English.

Hope this itinerary makes your trip to Interlaken unforgettable!
