Osijek is a beautiful city in the eastern part of Croatia, known for its rich history, culture, and numerous green areas. In this guide, I will suggest a three-day itinerary for you to fully enjoy your stay in this charming city.

Day 1: Exploring the Historical Heritage Morning:

  • Tvrđa Fortress: Start your journey with a walk through the historic Tvrđa fortress, the historical heart of the city. Here you will find many Baroque-style buildings, museums, and galleries. Don't miss the Museum of Slavonia, which tells the rich history of the region. Day:
  • Trg Svetog Trojstva: Stroll through the central square of Tvrđa. Take a coffee break at one of the many cafes, enjoying the architecture and atmosphere.
  • St. Michael's Church: Visit this beautiful Baroque church nearby, known for its impressive frescoes that recreate the atmosphere of bygone times. Evening:

  • Kopački Rit Nature Park: Visit one of Croatia's largest nature parks, located near Osijek. Known for its diverse flora and fauna, you can take a nature walk or go on a boat tour here. Day:
