Two-day Poznan guide

Day 1: Morning:

  1. Breakfast in the city center: Start your day with breakfast at one of the local cafes or restaurants. You can try traditional Czech pastries or pies.
  2. Pilsen historical center: Take a stroll through the main square of the Republic, where the magnificent Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is located. The cathedral with its tall tower offers beautiful views of the city.

Day:

  1. Pilsner Brewery: Visit the famous Pilsner Urquell brewery, where the first pale lager was invented. A tour of the brewery will allow you to learn about the brewing process and taste fresh beer.
  2. Lunch at a beer restaurant: Stop for lunch at one of the restaurants near the brewery. Try traditional Czech dishes such as goulash or pork with dumplings.

Evening:

  1. Beer Museum: Learn more about the rich history of beer in the region. The museum is located near the city center and offers interesting exhibitions.
  2. Dinner and walk: End the day with dinner at one of the cozy restaurants in the center, and then take a stroll through the evening Pilsen. Many buildings are beautifully illuminated at night.

Day 2: Morning:

  1. Breakfast and Křižík Park: Start the second day with breakfast, then take a walk in Křižík Park, which offers scenic trails and beautiful landscapes.
  2. Technical Museum in Pilsen: Visit this museum to see various historical machines, cars, and other technical exhibits.

Day:

  1. Outdoor lunch: Head to lunch at one of the restaurants with a terrace or at a cafe outdoors.
  2. West Bohemian Museum: Spend the afternoon exploring collections dedicated to the history, art, and culture of the region.

Evening:

  1. DinoPark Pilsen: If you are traveling with children or simply love dinosaurs, this thematic park with realistic dinosaur models will be a great place for an evening visit.
  2. Dinner at a local restaurant: Enjoy your last evening in Pilsen by choosing a restaurant with national cuisine and reflecting on your time in this amazing city. Try a dessert - honey cake or apple strudel.
