Portsmouth, situated on the south coast of England, is rich in history and offers many interesting places to visit. Here is a sample itinerary for a two-day visit:

Day 1 Morning

  • Portsmouth Historic Dockyard: Start the day by visiting the famous historic dockyard where you can see the ship HMS Victory, Admiral Nelson's flagship, and HMS Warrior 1860. It is also recommended to visit the Royal Navy Museum and the Mary Rose Museum, where artifacts from the ship of the same name are displayed.

Day

  • Spinnaker Tower: After lunch, head to one of Portsmouth's main attractions - Spinnaker Tower. Take a trip to the viewing platform to enjoy panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas.
  • Gunwharf Quays: Spend some time at Gunwharf Quays with its shops, restaurants, and entertainment. It's a great place for shopping and dining.

Evening

  • Old Portsmouth: Wander the streets of Old Portsmouth, visit local bars and pubs. Visit The Spice Island Inn or other traditional English establishments.

Day 2 Morning

  • Southsea Castle: Start the second day with a visit to Southsea Castle. Explore its walls and towers, and enjoy a view of the sea.
  • Southsea Beach: Take a stroll along Southsea Beach. If the weather permits, relax and enjoy the sea views.

Day

  • D-Day Story and Art Gallery: Visit a museum dedicated to the events of World War II and see unique exhibits.
  • Pie and Vinyl: Have lunch at Pie and Vinyl café, where you can try delicious pies and listen to good music.

Evening

  • The Hotwalls Studios: Visit the art studios located in historic fortifications. Here you can see works by local artists and craftsmen.
  • Entertainment at South Parade Pier: End the day at South Parade Pier. Here you can find entertainment for every taste, from arcades to cafes and restaurants.

These two days will allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Portsmouth and its rich history, as well as enjoy modern entertainment and beautiful views.
