Guide to San Sebastian for 3 days

Day 1: Morning:

  1. Breakfast in the Old Town (Parte Vieja) - Start your day with a traditional Spanish breakfast of tortilla (Spanish omelette) and fresh pastries with coffee. There are plenty of cozy cafes in the Old Town.
  2. La Concha Beach - One of the most famous city beaches in Europe. Take a walk along the shore, relax, and enjoy the views. Day:
  3. San Sebastian Aquarium - Visit one of the most significant aquariums in Europe. It offers an amazing journey through the underwater world.
  4. Climb Mount Urgull - On this mountain, you will find ancient fortresses and magnificent views of the city. At the top, you will also find a statue of Jesus Christ. Evening:
  5. Dinner at traditional taverns - Try pintxos (Spanish tapas). Recommended areas: Calle 31 de Agosto or Fermin Calbeton.

Day 2: Morning:

  1. Breakfast at a cafe - Try local sweets such as churros with hot chocolate.
  2. Visit the San Telmo Museum - The museum tells the culture, history, and art of the Basques. Day:
  3. Igeldo Mountain - Ride the funicular and enjoy panoramic views of San Sebastian. At the top, there is an old amusement park.
  4. Lunch at a restaurant with a view - Choose a restaurant at the top to enjoy breathtaking views. Evening:
  5. Walk along the promenade - San Sebastian is famous for its picturesque promenade. An evening stroll here will provide unforgettable experiences.

Day 3: Morning:

  1. Pastry breakfast - Visit a local bakery and try Basque pastries.
  2. Buen Pastor Cathedral - Be sure to visit this neo-Gothic basilica. Day:
  3. Chill out at Zurriola Surfing Beach - If you love surfing or just want to watch surfers, this is the perfect place.
  4. Lunch in the Gros district - Known for its modern restaurants and lively atmosphere. Evening:
  5. Sunset at the "Comb of the Wind" Sculpture (Peine del Viento) - Visit the iconic sculpture created by Eduardo Chillida. It is a great place to watch the sunset.
  6. Farewell dinner at a gourmet restaurant - San Sebastian is famous for its high cuisine restaurants with Michelin stars. Make a reservation in advance.
