Seville 3-Day Guide

Seville is a charming city in southern Spain, known for its rich culture, architecture, and gastronomy. Here is a rough plan for three days to get the most out of this beautiful city:

Day 1: Historic Center

  • Morning: Start the day with a visit to the Seville Cathedral (Catedral de Sevilla) - one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world. Don't forget to climb the Giralda, the bell tower with stunning views of the city.
  • Then walk to the Alcazar (Real Alcázar) - a magnificent royal palace known for its gardens. Tickets are best reserved in advance.
  • Day: Have lunch at one of the local restaurants and try traditional Spanish tapas. Restaurants in the Santa Cruz area are recommended.
  • Visit the Archive of the Indies (Archivo de Indias) to learn more about Spain's colonial history.
  • Evening: Stroll through the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz quarter - the city's historic Jewish quarter. End the day with dinner and a flamenco show to enjoy the traditional music and dances of Andalusia.

Day 2: Art and Culture

  • Morning: Visit the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville (Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla), considered one of the best art museums in Spain.
  • Day: Explore the Metropol Parasol in La Encarnacion Square. This modern architectural structure offers panoramic views of the city.
  • Evening: Walk around Plaza de España, an architectural masterpiece built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. Enjoy dinner by the Guadalquivir River or in one of the restaurants in the Triana district, known for its ceramics and traditional cuisine.

Day 3: Nature and Relaxation

  • Morning: Visit Maria Luisa Park (Parque de María Luisa) - an ideal place for a morning walk or a picnic.
  • Day: Take a boat tour on the Guadalquivir River to see Seville from a different perspective. Join a gastronomic tour to try more local delicacies and drinks.
  • Evening: Enjoy a peaceful evening walking along the beautiful waterfront or visit a bar to try local wines and desserts.

Seville offers many impressive attractions, and this three-day plan will help you cover the main ones, leaving time for relaxation and spontaneous discoveries.
