Day 1: Exploring the Historical Center

  1. Valere Castle: Start the day with a visit to Valere Castle, located on one of the two hills overlooking Sion. Here you will find a museum and an organ that is considered one of the oldest in the world.
  2. Tourbillon Castle: After Valere Castle, head to the opposite hill to Tourbillon Castle. The walk will take about 20 minutes, and you can enjoy stunning views of Sion and the surroundings.

Day:

  1. Old Town: Descend into the historical center of the city. Explore the narrow streets, visit the Notre-Dame de Sion Cathedral, and the historical town hall quarter. Grab a coffee and croissant at one of the local cafes.
