Day 1: Morning:

  • TextielMuseum (Textile Museum):

    • Learn more about Tilburg's rich textile history. The museum is located in a former textile factory and offers interactive exhibitions.
  • Lunch at a restaurant:

    • We recommend having lunch at one of the restaurants in the Piushaven area — there is a good selection of establishments along the canal with picturesque views.

Evening:

  • Spoorzone:

    • This entertainment district of former railway workshops includes bars, cafes, restaurants, and cultural spaces. A particularly wonderful place is HAL 013.
  • Concert or show:

    • Check the schedule of Poppodium 013, one of the largest music venues in the Netherlands, where you can listen to live music of various genres.

Day 2: Morning:

  • Walk in Wilhelminapark:

    • Enjoy a morning walk in one of Tilburg's oldest parks, which is perfect for relaxation and nature watching.
  • Muzentuin and Tilburg University:

    • Stroll through the university grounds with its beautiful gardens and architecture.

Day:

  • Nationaal Park Loonse en Drunense Duinen:

    • Spend the second half of the day in this stunning national park known as the "Brabant Desert". Here you can go hiking, cycling, or simply take a leisurely walk.
  • Lunch in the national park:

    • Have lunch at one of the restaurants near the park to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and nature.

Evening:

  • Visit Koningshoeven Brewery:

    • End your visit with a tasting of Trappist beer at the famous La Trappe brewery. Learn about the beer production process and the historical role of monks.
  • Dinner in a cozy restaurant:

    • Back in the city, end the day with dinner at one of the cozy restaurants offering local or international cuisine. Pay attention to highly-rated places like De Houtloods or Gastrobar RIX.
