Guide to the city of Toledo for 3 days

Day 1: Historic Center and Cultural Heritage Morning:

  1. Alcazar Toledo: Start the day by visiting the impressive Alcazar, which overlooks the city. This majestic castle also serves as a historical museum, offering breathtaking views of Toledo.
  2. Toledo Cathedral: Take time to admire the beauty of this massive Gothic cathedral, one of the most important in Spain.

Lunch:

  • Try local dishes at one of the restaurants in the center, be sure to order carcamus (a traditional meat dish).

Afternoon:

  1. Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes: A stunning example of Isabelline Gothic architecture, with beautiful gardens and inner courtyards.
  2. Jewish Quarter (Judería): Stroll through the narrow streets, visit the Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue and the Transito Synagogue, where the Sephardic Museum is also located.

Evening:

  • Dinner at a restaurant overlooking the Tagus River or in one of the cozy cafes on the central Plaza de Sokodover.

Day 2: Art and Panoramic Views Morning:

  1. El Greco Museum: Explore the works of this famous artist in the museum dedicated to his life and art.
  2. Church of Santo Tomé: Here you will find one of El Greco's most famous works, "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz."

Lunch:

  • Take a break at a cafe overlooking the river for a light lunch.

Afternoon:

  1. Santa Cruz Museum: Featuring a collection of religious art and archaeological finds.
  2. Panoramic boat trip on the Tagus River: Enjoy beautiful views of Toledo from the water or take a walk to the viewpoint "Mirador del Valle."

Evening:

Day 3: Castles and the Tagus Valley Morning:
