Valencia 3-Day Guide

Day 1: Valencia's Historical Center

  • Morning:
    • Start your day by visiting the Valencia Cathedral (La Seu). Pay attention to the Holy Grail, which some claim is located here.
    • Climb the Miguelete tower (El Miguelete) for panoramic views of the city.
  • Day:

    • Visit the Central Market of Valencia (Mercado Central) and enjoy local delicacies.
  • Evening:
    • Stroll around the Plaza de la Virgen and relax at a café.
    • End the evening with dinner at a local restaurant trying the traditional dish of paella.

Day 2: Culture and Art

  • Morning:
    • Visit the City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) complex, known for its modern architecture. Start with the Oceanographic Park (L'Oceanogràfic), Europe's largest aquarium.
  • Day:
    • Explore other parts of the complex, including the interactive Prince Philip Science Museum (Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe) and the Hemisfèric IMAX theater.
    • After lunch, head to the Turia Park for a peaceful walk or bike ride.
  • Evening:
    • Visit the Palau de les Arts for an opera or concert, if there is a suitable event.
    • Have dinner in the old town, trying tapas at one of the local bars.

Day 3: Beach and Nature

  • Morning:
    • Head to Malvarrosa Beach to relax by the sea and soak up the sun.

    • Visit Albufera, a natural park near the city. Take a boat tour on the lake and birdwatch.

    • Return to the city and visit Ruzafa, one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Valencia, full of art, music, and gastronomic places.
    • End your adventure at one of the bars with live music, enjoying the nightlife atmosphere of Valencia.
