Day 1: Morning:

  2. Long Walk: After visiting the castle, take a stroll along the Long Walk, a majestic avenue leading from Windsor Castle to the statue of King George III. Lunch:
    • Have lunch at one of the cozy cafes on Peascod Street. For example, The Horse and Groom or Duchess of Cambridge Inn offer traditional British cuisine. Day:
  3. Windsor Great Park: Visit the vast Royal Park near the castle. Here you can enjoy walks, bike rides, or have a picnic. Evening:
  4. River Thames: End the day with an evening walk along the River Thames. You can rent a boat or book a cruise and enjoy the sunset views.
    • Dinner: Try local delicacies at one of the restaurants on the waterfront, such as Gilbey’s Bar & Restaurant or The Boatman.

Day 2: Morning:

  1. Eton College: Start the second day by visiting the famous Eton College, just a short walk from Windsor. Explore the historic setting and learn more about its famous alumni. Lunch:
    • Have lunch at Eton Mess, a cozy cafe with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Day:
  2. Legoland Windsor: Visit Legoland, a theme park especially if you are traveling with children. It's a great place for entertainment with plenty of attractions and play areas. Evening:
  3. Windsor Guildhall: Walk past the historic Guildhall, where you can take some wonderful photos and admire the architecture.
    • Restaurant Row: Choose one of the local establishments for dinner, such as Coworth Park or Heston Blumenthal’s Crown.
    • Evening Closure: If you have the energy, visit one of the local pubs to try English beer and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.

This two-day itinerary will give you a rich experience of Windsor, combining historical and modern attractions.
