Guide to Zadar for 1 day

Zadar is a beautiful Croatian city with a rich history and picturesque landscapes. If you only have one day to explore this city, here is an optimal route that will help you make the most of your visit.

Morning:

  1. Old Town: Start your day with a walk through the Old Town. This is the heart of Zadar, where you will find many monuments, churches, and narrow streets that have preserved a medieval atmosphere.

  4. Greeting to the Sun: Next to the Sea Organ is the Greeting to the Sun – an interesting light installation that is powered by solar energy and creates a beautiful light show after sunset.

Evening:

  1. Sunset on the waterfront: Watch one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Adriatic from the waterfront or right by the Greeting to the Sun. It is an unforgettable sight!
  2. Dinner: Finish your day at one of the sea-view restaurants. Enjoy the atmosphere of Zadar, try local wine, and traditional Croatian desserts.
