Paris 3-Day Travel Guide

Guide for a three-day trip to Paris.

Day 1: Historical Center and Eiffel Tower

Morning:

  • Notre-Dame and Île de la Cité Start your day by visiting the Notre-Dame Cathedral on Île de la Cité. Although reconstruction is still ongoing after the fire, its majestic architecture is worth seeing. Take a stroll around the island, exploring other landmarks such as the Conciergerie.

Midday:

  • Louvre Head to the Louvre, one of the most famous museums in the world. It is recommended to book tickets in advance. Spend a few hours admiring masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.

Evening:

  • Eiffel Tower End the day with a visit to the Eiffel Tower. It's worth going to the top to enjoy a panoramic view of Paris. Tickets are also best booked in advance. Consider having dinner at one of the restaurants with a view of the tower to end the evening.

Day 2: Art and Culture

Morning:

  • Musée d'Orsay Visit the Musée d'Orsay, home to one of the best collections of impressionist art in the world. Pay attention to works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas.

Midday:

  • Latin Quarter and Panthéon Stroll through the Latin Quarter, enjoy its lively atmosphere and old streets. Visit the Panthéon, the final resting place of many distinguished figures of France, including Victor Hugo and Marie Curie.

Evening:

  • Montmartre Climb the hill of Montmartre to see the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and enjoy the sunset. Walk around the Place du Tertre, where street artists work. Have dinner at one of the local restaurants in Montmartre to experience the unique atmosphere of the area.

Day 3: Modern Paris

Morning:

  • La Défense Visit La Défense, the modern business district of Paris with impressive architecture and the Grande Arche.

Midday:

  • Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe Take a walk along the Champs-Élysées from Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. If you wish, climb the arch for a view of the city.

Evening:

  • Seine River Cruise End your trip with a pleasant cruise along the Seine to see the city's main landmarks from the water. It's a great way to relax and reminisce about the past few days.

Tips:

  • Use the metro to get around the city – it's fast and convenient.
  • Try the local cuisine: croissants for breakfast, dinner at a traditional bistro, and, of course, desserts like macarons or crème brûlée.
  • Book tickets in advance for popular attractions to avoid long queues.

Wishing you a pleasant trip to Paris!
